This logic is why Yahoo lost to Google in the first place. At some stage Yahoo began to put the advertiser first. It stopped seeing customers as people it needed to help find what they wanted quickly. It fell into the trap of sticky marketing-keep them on the site as long as possible, show them as many ads as possible.

Yahoo and Google have the same advertising revenue model. However, Google isn't focused on increasing page views and ad placements but rather on increasing relevance. It is focused on making ads useful.
The Bing homepage includes a new beautiful image daily, information hotspots embedded in the image, popular searches, and links to video, news, shopping, travel, images, entertainment and maps. In addition, the Bing homepage occasionally features rich HTML5-powered videos in place of the daily image, providing people with an even more immersive experience.

Google is a multinational, publicly-traded organization built around the company's hugely popular search engine. Google's other enterprises include Internet analytics, cloud computing, advertising technologies, and Web app, browser and operating system development.
Google's roots go back to 1995 when two graduate students, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, met at Stanford University. In 1996, Brin and Page collaborated on a research project that was to eventually become the Google search engine. BackRub, as it was called then (because of its analysis of back links), stirred up interest in the university research community, but didn't garner any offers from the major portal vendors. Those were early days in terms of mass searching of the Internet; one of the CEOs who turned them away said that users don't really care about search abilities. Undaunted, the founders scrounged up enough funding to get started, and in September of 1998 began operations from a garage-based office in Menlo Park, California. In December of that same year, PC Magazine listed Google as one of its Top 100 Web Sites and Search Engines for 1998.
Google was chosen for its resemblance to the word googol -- a number consisting of a numeral one followed by a hundred zeroes -- as a reference to the vast amount of information in the world. Google's self-stated mission: "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."
In the first few years of operation, Google's search engine competition included AltaVista, Yahoo, Excite and Lycos. Within a few years, however, Google became so dominant that the name has become a verb meaning to conduct a Web search; people are as likely to say they "Googled" some information as to say they searched for it.
Observing means attentive, watchful, and looking on. The definition of comparing is, to regard as similar or to examine in order to observe or discover similarities or differences.

Since most applications store data in your system's registry, it is likely that your registry has suffered fragmentation and accumulated invalid entries which can affect your PC's performance. Google Search (or Google Web Search) is a web search engine owned by Google Inc. Google Search is the most-used search engine on the World Wide Web,[4] receiving several hundred million queries each day through its various services.[5]
The order of search results on Google's search-results pages is based, in part, on a priority rank called a "PageRank". Google Search provides many options for customized search, using Boolean operators such as: exclusion ("-xx"), alternatives ("xx OR yy"), and wildcards ("x * x").[6]
Yahoo! Answers is a new way to find and share information. You can ask questions on any topic, get answers from real people, and share your insights and experience
So Google is strongly associated with simplicity, usefulness, pages that load fast (in one word: text), while Yahoo is connected with rich interfaces, complex designs, pages that load slowly (in one word: multimedia). Gags even called Yahoo flamboyant, which means "elaborately and heavily ornamented". It will be interesting to see if the acquisitions of YouTube and DoubleClick will change people's perception about Google.

What the different between webs ask, yahoo, Google, msn, Bing
• Google: on the other hand, are partial to Target and Amazon, and Yahoo searchers have a strong preference for wireless service from AT&T and Sprint
• Bing: you & apos;re probably an early adopter, but you also visit, shop and ultimately make purchases from Wal-Mart more than other search-engine users
• Yahoo users tend to be 55-plus, reserved and a less-independent group with little faith in imagination. They feel they have little control over their future and are skeptical and cautious of new or untried ideas.
• Ask: is a relatively new website that has data for specific topics. Ask emphasizes on topical communities and does the heavy citation only when it is from the topical communities. Ask does not have significant market share and it is therefore, not much sited unless necessary
• Msn: In my experience these two (msn, Google) are in many ways different. What I have seen in MSN is that it gives Preference to the Domain name, Number of links, Title, number of pages in the site.
• But in Google its totally different Google requires quality links quality content and quality pages in the site Ram
